This is it, my final edition of this newsletter. I’m both sad to see it end and happy for the space that will be created in its absence. Something else is wanting to be born and I’m excited to see what will emerge. I will definitely keep you all apprised! I thought for this last issue I would focus all three media on endings. Most of us are not very good about saying goodbye. Goodbyes tend to occasion pain and most people don’t want to subject themselves or others to that experience. However, a good ending opens the way for a positive new beginning so let’s see what we can create out of the ending of this newsletter.
I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing all of these resources with you. While I’ll continue to listen to huge numbers of podcasts, read numerous books and watch many videos, it won’t be quite as fun now that I’m not sharing them with you. There was a special joy that I got out of sharing things that moved me, interested me, educated me, and made me think in different ways. Whenever I posted anything, I always wondered about its impact on you and whether you appreciated the resources as much as I did.
I’m hoping that whatever new project emerges, that we’ll still be able to stay in touch. My next project will definitely be focused on the actual practice and art of coaching but even if you aren’t a coach, I hope that you will find something meaningful in what I have to say. Those of you who are coaches, my aim is to help you improve your coaching techniques, and help you grow into mastery or deepen the mastery you have already achieved. Of course, if you are a friend or relative and you want to see what I love to do when I’m coaching or mentoring coaches, stay tuned and check out what’s coming next!
Finally, I do hope that our paths will cross again in either virtual or real life. I know most of you on this list through our professional coaching association. Regardless of whether we meet again on zoom, social media, or in real life, I look forward to reconnecting with you one way or another. My goal has always been to support you and that is not changing. If you ever just want to say hello, you can always reach me by email or via my contact form. I’m always interested to hear how you’re doing and what new projects have captured your heart.
Thank you for being dedicated readers these past two years. It has been a true pleasure to share all of these resources with you. Blessings to you all.
On this episode of The Life Coach School Podcast, Brooke Castillo dives into why goodbyes are difficult for us and why, at the same time, they are so necessary. She shares a simple-but-challenging process for saying goodbye to things in your home, your relationships, your jobs, and thoughts – those things in your life that no longer serve you and
Knowing when and how to let go when something, or someone, isn’t working—a personal relationship, a job, or a business venture—is essential for happiness and success. Necessary Endings gives readers the tools they need to say good-bye and move on.
Coincidentally, the video program “How To Adult” spent their last episode talking about how to say goodbye. Although aimed at young adults, there is much wisdom here for all of us regardless of our age or situation.
